Picture credit: Redbubble A lady shared her story or should I say a testimony and while reading, I had this strong conviction to write about it because this is exactly what we get to hear in the society or what most people do due to our religious mind.  Constant blaming of the devil even for minute things we caused with our own hands has become a major deal. Our bodies cannot demand for rest even after stressing it without us ascribing it to the devil. Back to the said story/testimony, she had difficulty breathing for days. According to her, it was so severe that her bones were weak and she could practically do nothing. Sometimes, it was as if her breath was suspended. I try as much as possible not to take part in public argument especially on trivial issue or trending topics. This is not because I do not know what to say but because I understand that not everyone is blessed with the gift of logical argument; while some can logically argue with no beef or fight, others cannot. Plus we are quite different and so is our reasoning. but I need people to understand that the world is not always black and white and that someone does not see from your perspective does not make them less human or less knowledgeable. We are wired differently in order to think critically.  One of the main ingredient to a successful agreement is critical thinking and open mindedness to learn and unlearn things. In this case, it may be you learning something or the other party. However, it has been established that most argument in Nigeria is not tailored towards critical thinking and to some extent it is always narrow-minded.
