CYBERSPACE
Cyberspace is a world of information through the internet even though most activities that goes on in it are termed unrealistic. However, one thing is constant and this is change and we all are cyberians -whether actively or passively.
The cyberspace keeps revolving while technology is also moving too fast. It is then somewhat annoying to see people still stuck with the olden days mentality of accessing what and whatnot on the internet. What is acceptable or trending within the cyberspace last year might not be applicable this year. It is that flexible and open to changes. For instance, someone who still use the abacus computer in this age and time would feel totally out of place. Same goes with people who still use the cyberspace as a medium to "f**k haters" - one that does not even exist.
We need to grow, learn to keep up with innovations, widen our horizon in order to make the most out of this jet age. The cyberspace is like a fertile land waiting for people to sow seeds on it. It will definitely germinate, depending on the kind of content you sow into it. That is to say the more you explore, the more creative ideas pop up. You own it! You have the power to wield your sword so as to get positive results.
It is, however, disgusting when I see people write captions like f*ck haters, haters keep beefing and the likes in this generation. Some even go as far as writing zero worries. Please, who are you deceiving? Even the richest man in the world still has a whole lot of things to worry about not to talk of a common man. Possibly, the supposed hater is even making maximum use of her cyberspace while you're there redundant.
It is high time we grew and maximize these great and efficient tool.
- Don't just post pictures on IG rather market what you sell.
- Update your profile on LinkedIn to connect with like minds.
- Make use of your search engines to update yourself on happenings around the world.
- Watch YouTube videos to aid your learning; both academic and skill acquisition wise.
- Don't just savage people on Twitter, read and tweet about things that would spur intelligent discussions.
- Create business opportunities and deliver jobs even right there on Whatsapp. Status ain't just meant for personal pictures, they are there for a purpose.
- Cultivate the habit of sending e-mails.
Above all, learn to be adaptive and flexible. Don't be rigid when it comes to learning.

DeleteThis has been my cry in recent days. A lot has been using their social media handle for redundant stuffs. Not knowing how much they can bless people and can be blessed with it. Generally, it's called misplaced priority!

DeleteCyberspace importance is underrated here in this part of the world. People are caught up abusing it in all manners from threatening its integrity with the increase in fraudulent activities that breeches cyber security then our so called slay queens turning their different handles to twerk hub and what have you the poor and abusive usage of cyberspace has made it weak

ReplyDeleteIn all honesty, it's like majority of us have mastered the ability to under use things. In this generation where ones mind should be open to creating and refurbishing new ideas. Some people will sha still want to flaunt how ancient they are by dwelling in the past 🤦
